Sheila Price, MSW, LGSW
Supervised by Sarah Cross

Sheila holds a Master of Social Work from Walden University with a specialization in Child and Family practice. As a previous clinical intern, she provided therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and trauma-related concerns. Her clinical experience strengthened her ability to utilize strengths-based, trauma-informed, and play therapy approaches while collaborating with caregivers and other professionals to support clients across settings and foster emotional growth, coping skills, resilience, and overall well-being. Her professional experience includes working as a parent educator and supervised visitation monitor, where she supported diverse families and individuals through stressful seasons. Sheila has also worked in school settings, focusing on fostering safe environments that promote growth, connection, and emotional well-being.
Sheila utilizes a strengths-based, client-centered approach in her work with children, adolescents, and adults. Sheila approaches each individual with dignity and respect, recognizing clients as experts in their own lived experiences. She understands that every person is unique and tailors interventions to align with each client’s identified strengths, needs, and goals. Acknowledging that life can be challenging, Sheila is dedicated to walking alongside individuals and families through difficult seasons and mental health challenges by providing support to promote increased resiliency and overall well-being.
In her free time, Sheila likes to play games with her family and friends. From cards to board games to yard games, she is up for (almost) anything. She loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, backpacking, kayaking, gardening, laying in her hammock, and sitting around a bonfire. In the evenings, she can be found winding down with a good book or watching shows with her husband and kids. Sheila enjoys making wood-fired pizza, and the whole family gets involved forming crusts, picking toppings, and launching pizzas into the pizza oven. Sheila and her family have two dogs and two cats, and always seem to be open to adding more furry friends.
